So I built the app I wished existed. One that uses AI to do the heavy lifting, shows its reasoning so you can actually trust the numbers, and stays out of your way. Mindful isn't about obsessing over every calorie. It's about building intuition for what fuels you best.
Mindful's AI grounds every estimate by searching across nutrition databases and online sources in real time to get the most up-to-date data, then shows you exactly which ones it used. Every estimate comes with a confidence score, a full reasoning breakdown, and linked sources so you can verify for yourself. If something doesn't look right, you can edit manually or tap "Edit with AI" to correct it with natural language like "the portion was bigger" or "remove the dressing."

From there you can set custom daily targets for calories, protein, carbs, and fat, plus limits for sugar, fiber, sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fat. You can also set a goal weight and track your progress over time.
